- Multi-fuel or Wood-Fired Range (possibly with Back Boiler), will need to be smokeless
- Various non-powered kitchen gadgets: Mouli, Hand-Powered Blender, Thermos Slow Cooker,
- Low-voltage (LED or Fluorescent) under-cabinet lighting
- Water Purifier
- Large Pantry, pref double-sided
- DC Fridge or Brownout Protector
- Equipment for Waxing Cheese
Dining Room
- Expandable table
Playroom
- Instant-heat to stand in front of (Gas?)
Lounge
- Wood-fired stove
- Central Pendant light in diffusing shade – 12v CFL?
- Two Standard/Reading Lamps – 12v CFL?
Garden
- Kitchen Scraps Compost: Black Soldier Fly Composter / Worm Farm
- Firewood store, and at least 12m³ of wood
- Greenhouse with Aquaponics system
Heating & Hot Water
- WoodBurning Stove with Back Boiler – possibly a range , will need to be smokeless
- Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) for everyday space heating.
Power & Light
- Solar Panels [2] – possibly grid-tie with battery backup
Water
- 6,000+ litre rainwater tanks
